1. Who we are and what these terms cover
Tinvito (tinvito.cl) is a service run by Qubits Technologies SpA for creating, publishing, and managing digital event invitations, with RSVPs, reminders, and guest tracking.
These terms apply to the website, the mobile app, and any other Tinvito channel. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms and the Privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
2. Your account
To create an account you must be at least 18 years old and provide truthful information. You choose your password and are responsible for keeping it secret and for everything done from your account.
If you suspect someone has accessed your account without permission, change your password from My details and let us know at hola@tinvito.cl.
Guests don’t need an account: they open the invitation from the link they receive.
3. The service
With Tinvito you can:
- design invitations from templates, with text, photos, music, and effects;
- publish them at a link and share personal links with each guest or group;
- receive RSVPs, messages, and replies;
- send emails and reminders to your guests and export the replies.
The features and limits of each plan (number of guests, reminders, validity period, etc.) are shown on the website when you choose it. We may improve, change, or discontinue features; if a change significantly affects an event you’ve already paid for, we’ll let you know and look for an equivalent alternative or refund you the corresponding part.
4. Plans, prices, and payments
During the launch period, publishing invitations is free. Events published for free during the launch keep that status even after we turn billing on.
Once billing is active, plans are paid per event, in the currency and at the price shown before payment, including taxes where applicable. Payments are processed through payment providers (for example, Mercado Pago or PayPal); Tinvito doesn’t store your card details.
You can increase an event’s capacity or validity period by paying the difference, without rebuilding the invitation.
5. Right of withdrawal and refunds
If you paid for a plan and haven’t published the invitation yet, you can request a full refund within 10 days of payment by writing to hola@tinvito.cl.
Once you publish the invitation, the service starts being provided right away. Because of this, to the extent the law allows, withdrawal is no longer available once it’s published. This doesn’t affect your rights if the service doesn’t work as offered: in that case, write to us and we’ll sort it out.
If you’re a consumer in Chile, you keep all the rights granted to you under Law No. 19,496 on consumer protection. If you live in the European Union or another country with mandatory consumer rules, those rules also apply.
6. Your content
The text, photos, music, and other content you upload remain yours. You give us a limited license to store it, adapt it (for example, resizing a photo), and show it to the people you share the invitation with, solely to provide you the service.
You’re responsible for holding the rights to what you upload (photos of other people, songs, logos) and for making sure it doesn’t break the law or infringe third-party rights.
7. Your guests’ data
When you upload your guests’ names, emails, or phone numbers, you decide what they’re used for: inviting them to your event and receiving their replies. For that data you act as the data controller, and Tinvito processes it on your behalf, solely to provide you the service.
You must only upload data belonging to people who expect your invitation, and not use Tinvito to send advertising or unsolicited mass messages. Guests can stop receiving emails at any time from the link included in every email.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use Tinvito to:
- post illegal, violent, discriminatory, or sexually explicit content, or content that violates other people’s privacy or image;
- send spam, scams, impersonation, or malicious links;
- try to access other people’s accounts or data, overload the service, or bypass its technical limits;
- resell the service without an agreement with us (that’s what the Organizer plan is for).
If we detect this kind of use, we may hide the content, suspend the invitation, or close the account, notifying you when possible.
9. Availability and liability
We work to keep Tinvito available at all times, but there may be interruptions due to maintenance, provider failures, or causes beyond our control. We recommend exporting your replies before the event.
We aren’t liable for indirect damages or for decisions you make based on the service (for example, how much food you order based on RSVPs). To the extent the law allows, our total liability for an event is limited to what you paid for that event. None of this limits the rights the law guarantees you as a consumer.
Email delivery also depends on the receiving servers: an email may land in the spam folder or be rejected. You’ll see in the dashboard which ones couldn’t be delivered.
10. Invitation validity and closing your account
Each plan states how long the invitation stays published and how long after the event you can keep accessing its dashboard.
You can delete your events from your account whenever you want (if the invitation is published, first set it back to draft). To delete your entire account and all its data, write to us at hola@tinvito.cl.
11. Tinvito’s intellectual property
The Tinvito brand, the website, the templates, designs, illustrations, and software belong to Qubits Technologies SpA or its licensors. You may use the templates for your invitations within the service, but not copy or distribute them outside it.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If the change is significant, we’ll notify you by email or in your account with reasonable advance notice. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
13. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Before filing any complaint, write to us at hola@tinvito.cl: almost everything can be sorted out by talking it through.
If you’re a consumer, you can go to Chile’s National Consumer Service (SERNAC) or the courts the law allows you to use, including those of your own domicile. In all other cases, disputes will be settled before the ordinary courts of Santiago, Chile.
